Sprinkler trucks are suitable for washing various road surfaces, greening trees, green belts, lawns, construction of roads, factories and mining enterprises, and washing high-altitude buildings. It has functions such as watering, dust suppression, high and low level spraying, pesticide spraying, guardrail flushing, as well as functions such as water transportation, drainage, and emergency firefighting.
A sprinkler truck uses the engine power of the vehicle to drive the on-board sprinkler pump through a power take-off, adding water to the vehicle from the water inlet or transporting water from the tank to various nozzles through pipelines, thereby achieving various functions.
Before the sprinkler pump starts working, the liquid level inside the pump must be higher than the pump shaft. Therefore, an upward curved bend must be connected to the pump inlet, followed by a horizontal pipe and a quick connector. The centerline of the quick connector must be 300 millimeters higher than the centerline of the pump shaft; The imported pipeline system must ensure no air leakage; The suction head of the suction pipe must be submerged underwater to prevent air from being sucked into the water pipe; When connecting the outlet pipeline to the pump outlet, it is necessary to ensure that the length of the straight pipe is ≥ 200 millimeters before connecting the bent pipe.
The sprinkler pump adopts an external mixing self suction structure, and there should be an appropriate amount of liquid inside the pump. After the pump is started, the impeller rotates and a negative pressure is formed at the inlet of the impeller. The gas in the suction pipeline mixes with the liquid in the pump and enters the gas-liquid separation chamber through the pressure chamber. Due to the difference in specific gravity between gas and liquid, gas is separated from the liquid and discharged from the outlet pipe. The liquid sinks in the gas-liquid separation chamber and undergoes multiple cycles until the gas in the suction pipe is completely discharged and filled with liquid, completing the self suction process. The pump begins normal infusion.
The sprinkler pump can play a role in water absorption and pressurized drainage. The self priming pump can directly suck the water from the pond into the tank, or connect it directly to the fire hydrant on the city street to inject water and suck it into the tank for sprinkler operations.
