Concrete mixer truck, also known as mixer truck, is a specialized truck used to transport pre mixed concrete for construction purposes; The truck is equipped with a cylindrical mixing drum to transport the mixed concrete. During transportation, the mixing drum will always be kept rotating to ensure that the carried concrete does not solidify. After transporting concrete, the inside of the mixing drum is usually rinsed with water to prevent hardened concrete from occupying space.
The concrete mixing transport vehicle consists of a car chassis and a specialized device for concrete mixing transport. The chassis of concrete mixer trucks produced in our country mostly adopts the Class II universal chassis provided by the vehicle manufacturer. Its specialized mechanisms mainly include power take-off, front and rear brackets of mixing drum, reducer, hydraulic system, mixing drum, control mechanism, cleaning system, etc. The working principle is to extract the power from the car chassis through a power take-off device and drive the variable pump of the hydraulic system, converting mechanical energy into hydraulic energy and transmitting it to the quantitative motor. The motor then drives the reducer, which drives the mixing device to mix concrete.
Structural Principles
1, Power take-off device
The domestically produced concrete mixing transport vehicle adopts the main engine power extraction method. The function of the power take-off device is to extract the engine power by manipulating the power take-off switch, and drive the mixing drum through the hydraulic system. The mixing drum rotates forward during feeding and transportation to facilitate feeding and mixing of concrete. It rotates in the opposite direction during discharging and cuts off the power connection with the engine after the work is completed.
2, Hydraulic system
The engine power extracted by the power take-off is converted into hydraulic energy (displacement and pressure), and then output into mechanical energy (speed and torque) through the motor to provide power for the rotation of the mixing drum.
Control mechanism
(1) Control the rotation direction of the mixing drum to rotate in a forward direction during feeding and transportation, and in a reverse direction during discharge.
(2) Control the speed of the mixing drum.
3, Mixing device
The mixing device mainly consists of a mixing drum and its auxiliary support components. A mixing drum is a container for loading concrete. When it rotates, the concrete moves along the spiral direction of the blades and is mixed and stirred during continuous lifting and flipping. During the feeding and transportation process, the mixing drum rotates forward and the concrete moves inward along the blades. When discharging, the mixing drum reverses and the concrete is discharged outward along the blades. The blades are the main components in the mixing device, and damage or severe wear can lead to uneven concrete mixing. In addition, if the angle of the blades is not designed properly, it can also cause segregation of the concrete.
4, Cleaning system
The main function of the cleaning system is to clean the mixing drum, and sometimes it is also used for dry material mixing during transportation. The cleaning system also plays a cooling role in the hydraulic system.
5, Fully enclosed device
The fully enclosed device adopts rotary sealing technology to seal the inlet and outlet of the mixer truck, solving a series of problems such as traditional mixer truck water evaporation, mortar layering, concrete material scattering, and driving safety
